The Cheboygan Economic Development Group is a Michigan based non-profit corporation serving the interests and needs of citizens of Cheboygan County, Michigan.

Following the development of a formal strategic plan and its mission to "Increase and enhance Cheboygan County’s economic activity for benefit of all citizens of our county community", four specific objectives were determined:

Plan Objectives:

  Create an organization that brings together the vast and diverse human talent of our community to serve as a catalyst in creating economic growth in Cheboygan County.
• B.
  Initiate job creation and expansion to create downstream growth and prosperity for Cheboygan County's business and service communities, its worker population and to create an economically healthy community.
• C.
  Make our community more visually attractive and welcoming to visitors and residents generating a more rewarding and positive destination experience for visitors and increased pride in our community for residents.
• D.
  Expand tourism generated visitations to Cheboygan, Michigan, as a means of increasing economic activity thru-out the county.
